Kathmandu: Ncell Private Limited on September 27 (Thursday) handed over cash prizes to the lucky winners of the third week of the ‘Recharge and Win’ offer.
Recharge and Win is a 10 weeks long campaign and the winners for the third week were selected on September 25 (Tuesday) through a live draw program broadcasted in AP1 Television.
Among the 10 lucky winners of the third week, eight winners received cash prize of Rs 100,000 each on Thursday. Ncell is verifying another one winner. As one of the 10 winners selected for the week failed to qualify for the awards as per the terms and conditions of the offer, new winner will be selected next week following the same process.
Prizes to the verified winners and new winner will be handed over from Kathmandu as well as Ncell Centers in the regions.
Vishal Upadhyay, Chief Information Officer of Ncell handed over the cash prizes to the eight winners of the third week – Til Maya Manandhar (Syangja), Madhav Bhandari (Dang), Mira Chepang (Gorkha), Paspati Chaudhary (Nawalpasari), Amir Saru (Rupandehi), Paltu Chaudhary (Sunsari), Dol Kumari Magar (Rautahat) and Ambika Dangal (Sindhupalchowk) – amid a function in Kathmandu on Thursday.
In the same function, Ncell also handed over the cash prizes to a winner of the first week — Khil Bahadur Tamang of Udaypur — and two winners of the second week — Shanti Tamang of Kavrepalanchowk and Khadga Bahadur Shrestha of Tahahun. Similarly, during the week, the company also handed over cash prize of NPR 100,000 to Gautam Paudel of Parsa, one of the winners of the first week, visiting his office in Bhaktapur.
Likewise, six winners from the first and second week, who could not travel to Kathmandu, received their cash prizes from Ncell Centres in regions on Thursday. Aruhuliya Devi Sah (Siraha), one of the winners of the first week, received the prize from Ncell Centre, Lahan. Likewise, five winners of the second week — Nanda Kumari GC (Nawalparasi) received the prize from Ncell Centre in Butwal, Harendra Singh (Kanchanpur) received the prize from Ncell Centre in Mahandranagar, Ritesh Bhusal and Nara Maya Chapagain of Jhapa received their prizes from Ncell Centre in Birtamod, and Chandra Kala Rai (Bhojpur) received the prize from Ncell Centre in Itahari.
All Ncell prepaid and postpaid customers are eligible to participate in ‘Recharge and Win’ offer. The campaign was launched on September 2 for 10 weeks, through which 10 lucky customers topping up Rs 100 or more in a week win Rs 100,000 every week. Each winner gets net Rs 100,000 as Ncell pays the applicable taxes for the cash prize.
‘Recharge and Win’ is implemented in a weekly cycle, beginning on Sunday and ending on Saturday. Based on the recharges done during the week, the customers receive a random unique code by Monday of the following week for every cumulative refill of Rs 100. For example, if a customer tops up Rs 250 from Sunday to Saturday, the customer will get two unique numbers.
10 lucky winners for the week are selected every Tuesday through a live draw program that is broadcasted in AP1 Television at 7:00 PM in the presence of a celebrity.
